The Moon Mountain Christmas Tree Farm land was settled by Baptista and Maria Ferrando in 1918 and has remained in the family for four generations. Planted more than 35 years ago by Ed Ferrando and his brothers, Tom and Larry, it is still farmed and operated by the Ferrando family. Today Ed's children Bobbi and John, along with their families live on the property and continue the tradition of family farming in the Sonoma Valley. | ||

Our farm is one of the largest Christmas Tree Farms in Sonoma Valley, located off Highway 12 just north of Fetters Hot Springs, two winding miles up Moon Mountain Road. With more than 10,000 Douglas Fir, White Fir and Noble Fir trees growing on eight of the most picturesque acres in the Sonoma Valley...makes choosing your tree an experience you won't soon forget. We are a "You Choose-We Cut and Carry" tree farm. You can buy and reserve your tree as early as the first weekend in November and then come back later in the season to pick it up. When you return to pick up your tree, give your tree tag to the cashier and they will have one of our tree cutters locate, cut and carry your tree to your vehicle (we do not tie trees to vehicles). Or if you would like to be there when your tree is being cut down, our tree cutters are more than happy to have you along . And if you would like to experience the excitement of cutting down your own tree, our tree cutters will provide you with a saw (we do not allow guests to bring their own saw).
